I don't know whether he lost weight or something but he is almost always the fasted guy to react to the ball. He has shown exceptional quickness and I wouldn't be surprise to see him go earlier then round 4 in the draft. He has a ton of strength too. The coaches trust him to play inside on some downs and he has handled himself well there. If he continues to look good, LSU could have 4 early round draftees on the DL. We definitely need to send these guys out on a high note this season. Come on, offense!!!

Dude would be a high pick if he played anywhere else if he keeps playing like this. Unfortunately for him, he sits behind two top 10 picks. Haley doing work on the dline?

Not much, if any drop off when he goes in the game. Very athletic. He's done well for the past few years. He also has more career TD's than all the TE's combined.

Always super talented. Shoulder problems through out most of his career here.

I thought he had some sort of past injury that kept dogging him.

He's been playing out of his mind this season.

Our D line will keep us in every game this season. Regardless of how well or badly the offense plays.

Lavar has definitely been in beast mode this season

I agree....Lavar is playing in the shadows of 2 beasts and is doing a very good job...im sure the NFL is watching...if he keeps it up, he will make a ton of money in the league. He is quietly having a huge year for us...completely underrated.

Either round 3 or earlier. Mark it...

He's a better pure DE than Mingo. Most people here may
not agree with me.

I agree with you...he has a better body size than Mingo...Mingo just has ridiculous speed which helps him a bunch...

I agree, I feel that he's outplayed Mingo so far this year. Just my opinion.

He is a more prototypical DE - different but not better. In the end it is results that matter and Mingo has delivered that.

More complete than Mingo maybe. But Mingo has a much higher ceiling because of his athleticism. Also, other teams have more respect for Mingo because of last seasons production. I've seen three people blocking Mingo on pass plays. He is almost guaranteed two blockers on every down. Him being such a threat opens things up for the other DL.

I agree. He played really smart in the Towson game. He was the one reading the silent count and getting the good jumps.

Aside from that late hit on the QB in the Auburn game it has been a good season from him thus. far.
