Not true. If his issue is solved he could easily ramp up in three weeks to the point that he could give us two innings of relief.

He doesn't have time to get stretched out to be starter.

His option now is pitch with a little pain or not pitch at all. He's choosing to pitch with pain

Threw one at Notre Dame. Latz was quoted saying his arm feels better than it did when he started at McNeese.

That kind of bothers me and tells me his arm wasn't ready when he pitched against McNeese.

I see your point, but it actually makes me feel a little better. I wasn't sure if he would ever pitch again, now I feel a lot more comfortable that we will have him next year and it was just a mistake by the coaches to play him too early.

I don't think mcneese was too early. At some point his arm had to be tested with live pitching. It was and he had some discomfort. Now his arm feels fine and it will be tested again. Really not much else that can be done

I feel like every time that he has said something along those lines, we hear bad news a week later.

Need to get him a possum!!!

We could use another arm in the pen, let's hope he can come on and not get sore or injured!!!

Tentatively optimistic...Power 'o the possum!!!

Darn right, get out there and make your pitches. Let the D work behind him, and enjoy some BB. Hope he goes a solid 1-2-3 IP, and then feels up to doing it again over the weekend vs UF.
