Miles 1 SEC Title with his recruits that he coached from the time they got there! With stocked rosters every year ,best and highest paid Coaching staff & Facilities in the Country and the best he could do was 1 SEC title? And you guys can't figure why Miles can't get a job. Saban won 2 SEC Titles and a NC in only 5 years and was responsible for, with Jimbo 1 year removed form the 2nd NC!!! And if Saban and Jimbo stayed there's not a doubt in my mine that 06 & 07 would have been undefeated NCs. 05 Saban knew what he had and according to SKIP was the main holdup on him taking the Miami job,(thought he could run the table), And if you guys don't think we would have kicked butt in o5 with Saban, Then there's Nothing to say but to the Leslie Homers, the man that left so much on the table he cant get a job.//Yes and we know GD, Miles was so smart, and so successful and so much knowledge of the game, and this is the reason he cant get a job. Makes a lot of sense!!1

We aren't just talking about you and me, at least I'm not. There are plenty of posters that have said they were against him from day one. Plenty that have said they themselves could have done a better job of coaching the football team than Miles did. Some have said anybody with a pulse could win 10 games a year at LSU, after all. we all know LSU recruits itself.
That's what a lot of the haters claim anyway. There's no way in hell Miles would have ever been viewed a "hero" by some of these dimwits, no matter the circumstances.

He can't even go undefeated at bama and he has by far the most talented roster. Last uear Bama had more players with a 1st rd grade in their front 7 than lsu's entire team.

IF LSU ever gets a top-tier QB on the field that can keep a defense honest we'll be dominant again and worthy of playoff bid discussion and consideration.
Great news is we now have a top-tier coaching staff on offense and defense that should help produce quality product on the field and improve recruiting. I like the future of LSU football. Geaux Tigers!

And our admin botched the shite out of it by not following through on the Miles firing the year prior.
