And Les Miles has coached 93 games at LSU, and his LSU teams have only been beaten badly, routed or outclassed with no chance to win only 4 times. 4 games out of 93:

2005 Georgia SECCG
2008 Ole Miss
2008 Florida
2012 alashama mulligumpnecks

You could possibly make the claim that we were also routed or had no chance in: the 2008 Georgia game, the 2009 Florida game, and maybe 2006 Florida and 2009 Bama - but we were in all 4 of those games till the 4th quarter and had VERY
bad calls and/or bad luck. We also were very much in the '10 Arky and Auburn losses til late.
In addition, Miles has also only lost ONE OOC game in 93 games at LSU since '05. One. (Penn State '09.)
Saban lost FOUR OOC games, including two bowl losses.

Just for the hell of it, Saban was routed or beaten badly EIGHT times: Virgnia Tech and Florida in 2000, Florida in 2001, Alabama, Auburn, and Texas in 2002, Florida in 2003, and Georgia in 2004. You could make a case for bad losses against Arky and Auburn in 2000, Ole Miss in 2001.
He also had FOUR atrocious last second losses to:
UAB in 2000, Arkansas in 2002, and Auburn and Iowa in 2004.

Miles also is 3-3 against Saban and very nearly could be 4-2 (OT game in '08).

No biggie, just felt like typing

That game should have never gone into overtime.
bama 08'
The pick six that Lee threw in that game should have been called 15 yard face mask against bama.
The DL man that tipped the ball in the air also grabbed Lee by the face mask and dragged him to the ground while tipping the pass.(Providing the officials in that game do their real job and not the one bama paid them to do)this takes 7 points off of the board for bama and puts LSU on bama's 30 yard line setting the Tigers up for a long field goal at worst. There were 4 other terrible calls/ missed calls during that game all favoring the tide. This was by far the worst officiated game that I have ever seen followed closely by the 2009 BCS Championship Game (Texas/ Bama).

The 2008 LSU/Bama game started the national talking heads about revamping the officiating in college football from the official being from individual conferences to being under the umbrella of the NCAA. This due to 4 of the 5 officials onthe field that game were from the state of bad word and 2 graduating from bama.

Note to future offensive lineman. Grabbing the DL by the face mask and directing them where to go is not a proper blocking technique and should not be copied no matter how many games the bama OL got away with. (15 1/2 games without a holding penalty. 3rd qt of 3rd game 2009 season - 5th game of 2010 season. This is f'ing impossible if the officials do their job)

Florida 2006 was a close game throughout. If took about 5 turnovers and a phantom holding call in the end zone which erased a TD for the NC champ gators to win that game.

I'd add 2010 Auburn to games lsu never really had a chance to win. That was a dominating 7 pt loss and AU took a knee at the end instead of scoring.

lol what the hell are you blathering about? This is one pathetic post. I literally don't think I have ever heard anyone else say anything about the officiating in those games.

At auburn 2010, we were tied at 17 at midfield with lee and had to punt. Remember we held auburn to three and out and was driving till jj threw a pic.

Correct.

My first game in TS wasn't until I was in college in 2004. I've been to 31 games in Death Valley with the only 2 losses I've witnessed coming on a Monday (Tenn '05) and a Friday (Arky '07), respectively.
