Where do they stand compared to other 3 starters in the SEC?

Or

Could this staff be what we need to make a run. The bats can come alive at any moment. Top of the ninth today rings a bell.

I hope Lange can return to the Lange of last season.

Valek has been stealing the Sunday thunder.

It's so nice to have a great Sunday starter.

Considering last year's by committee?

I'd say if we were tied up in the series and rolling with Valek, then we're good. 3 beer pregame.

I remember that time he was named Sunday starter. Lots of haters came out.

It's been nice having someone who has been consistent on Sundays. He gives us a chance to win every Sunday.

Yep. You don't have to throw 95mph to get people out. The young man can pitch.

Only bad thing about Valek is that he is a senior. I'm already dreading the fact that he will be missed as a starter next year.

Yeah, you know what you're getting with Valek.

He has been a great addition this year. He is a senior; but he has great exposure for himself; and has a great opportunity with this young team. He also has some pretty nasty mid-80s junk.

Even though Valek has a better record; I think Jared is our number 1 right now.

But Lange has more talent then either.

So, how does tRant think we compare to some of the other bullpens in the SEC?

I thought Valek would be one of the top two long relievers out the pen but give it to him he was given an opportunity and he's strangled any type of competition that ever had been at the position.

And kudos to Mainieri for bringing him in. A lot of people treat it as a failure when you have to rely on transfers.

LSU's bullpen is probably mid tier in the SEC which is ok because of the dominant to above average starting pitching.

Losing Cartwright and having Bain and Smith being brought back extremely slowly hurts as well as the uncertainty of Latz in the immediate future.

Florida, A&M, Kentucky, South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss all have great pens up front.

I'm sure Dunn did his homework on him. Good find.

Having Valek do so well bodes very well fit tournament play for once. That's been our big time Achilles heel
