Hheisman should be awarded after the bowls. Why isn't it?

I just think the numbers he put up were undeniable, I agree though, not even close. The key to beat Bama is a great offensive play calling added with physical WR play with an accurate QB. Ability to run with the QB can play a part but not so much. The threat to run needs to be there in some capacity. The difference between us and Clemson is that physical WR. Not saying we don't have them bc I think we do but some of that has to be coached, time the jump and you Can Not be afraid of contact while in the air. Block the DB out, high point, be physical. Mix in back shoulder accurate passes and you could beat Bama, of course pass pro HAS to improve. We either need another coach or different players but this needs to be LSUs #1 priority. If LSU can beat Bama LSU can beat anyone. We have the main coaching staff now we either need the right OL coach or players or both. GT

I bet.

You get to market the Heisman as appearing in the ____ Bowl.

Agreed but I'm pretty sure he would take a National Championship over a Heisman.

The biggest difference between us and Clemson was not WR play. It was O line. We got fricking man handled in the trenches and DE didn't stand a chance.

Not so fast OP. Unfortunately Lamar had to go against our D when Aranda had a month to prepare.

Frankly, the Heisman is becoming less important every year. Most players would take being a Top 5 draft pick over getting the Heisman, given the choice (or a NC)

I get the sense that this is some sort of subtle jab to diminish what lsu did to LJ

I guess this cess pool just has me wired like that

OP is just being honest. DW in the last 2 games has been incredible. LJ is really good, but right now, DW would be picked before LJ by more NFL GMs.

No one is discounting what LSU's amazing defense did to LJ, they've been doing that all year.
