Both of these guys were BEASTS! and fun as hell to watch. LaFleur was the most talented of the two but what Nickie lacked in talent, he made up for in his tenacity, that boy could lay some Laron Landry-isk hits. Sadly neither one had much luck in the NFL.

Nicky was managing some hunting and fishing marshland behind Galliano a few years ago. Not sure if hes still doing that.

Hes still a beast. He smoked a homerun off of me in our alumni softball tourny a few years back.

Kipps and domingeaux were a pair at one time.

Just for fun, jason bagget and steve peterman were te's at one time. Even though they were ot's in the end. Peterman was fricking awesome.

LaFluer was so good, I thought he was going to be the next Antonio Gates in the pros.

I was surprised Lafleur didn't do much in NFL.

He hurt his back pretty bad, so that derailed him. He's doing well for himself despite all of that though. He owns a couple of MRI clinics in the Lake Charles area last I heard.

Savoie was a mean dude! He liked hurting people more than making plays. The guy should have played DE.

Joe Domingeaux, Kyle Kipps and Demetri Robinson were on that 2001 team as well.
