He was basically laughed at this preseason and an afterthought. I knew they had no solid WR there and he could be the guy. I picked him up late in fantasy and it paid off. Can't believe he has done better than Doucet and Clayton did.

In a riveting game-film breakdown with former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak, Belichick highlighted LaFell's block on two different defenders to spring Danny Amendola for the first of two touchdowns last week.

"One of the things you really love about LaFell, I love coaching him, is this type of play right here," Belichick gushed. "A heads-up play, a smart play, a play that, honestly, most receivers aren't looking to make."

And, I should say, that's the kind of play you get from WR's who come from physical run-oriented offenses.

Let that sink it for a bit negaTigers. (especially y'all who wanted to throw Lafell away before he got contacts or Lasik as a Jr).

Holy shite, there are two consecutive posts where the name of a future Hall of Fame coach is spelled correctly!

Another former LSU WR that learned how to become a complete receiver that the NFL wants. Isn't all about catching 10 balls a game in college.

Was it Lafell that caught the winning td against Auburn in 07?

No, he's the one that bobbled an interception to Auburn instead of catching a 50 yard bomb with no defenders closer than 5 yards of him.

how old are you, 85 or 15?

Good for him.

I'm not sure why completing one player always needs to turn into bashing someone else, or the player being complemented.
