That's stupid. Collins has been abused in multiple games this year. He needs another year.

No way that neither Jarvis or Beckham get a first or 2nd round grade

Landry, Freak, Ego, OBJ are all gone. Freak would benefit by coming back after a very underwhelming year, but it's not happening.

Collins should come back and contribute to a NC! Schedule sets up nicely next year and he can work on that draft stock.

(wishful thinking)

I hope Collins returns, but I think he goes. Good for him that he's starting to register on the radar. I think he is a 1st-2nd round talent and a guy who could develop into an NFL all pro, but he hasn't been discussed much on the national scene, maybe at least not until lately.

I think Ego and Freak could both stand to return, Freak especially. But he'll probably excel at the combine. Scouts seem to fall in love with combine guys.

I've been assuming Hill has to be gone. RBs are not normally taken very high anymore unless they are absolutely elite talents, but I don't see Hill significantly upgrading his stock by returning.

LSU, home of the early draft entries who project to the 4th rd or later.

Sporting news is misinformed.

Your post makes no sense.

1) LC only Tiger projected to go in 1st 2 rounds.
2) Loston and Mett also to go within first 2 rounds. Which is it?

I would select Landry and Mett the highest of all the Tigers. LC could develop into something better with more coaching, but you have to take a chance on left tackles when they come out. They are too valuable.

So Loston goes in the second round, and OBJ, Landry and Hill go undrafted?

It is what it is. New NFL rules. We'll see more early departures every year

Trying not to be a homer..

Obviously I think Landry and MAYBE OBJ could be 2nd-3rd rounders but there are some pretty good WRs this year who will be ahead of them - Watkins, Evans, Lee. I'm sure their stock will go up - especially Landry's - as the draft gets closer and teams start to look at the tape.

Mett is similarly bound; there are a TON of talented QBs going this year, and even though I think he DESERVES IT, I doubt Mett goes in the first. It's likely he goes in the second.

Not sure how I feel about Collins. I don't know enough about the tackles that are entering this year to give an effective opinion.

Hill could have been an early round pick a decade ago, but RBs are losing their luster in today's NFL. Teams prefer a rotation of pretty good guys rather than feeding a single, very good workhorse. Understandably so. Hill's character issues + that snag will make him a 3rd or 4th, IMO.

Whoever graded Loston as a 2nd rounder is pretty stupid. I think he's pretty physically gifted but he is without-a-doubt a project and is in no way ready to start or even play in the NFL.

If OBJ runs an awesome 40 he could be a late 2nd. I think Landry gets drafted. Olinemen are a need, and LC is athletic and big so he'll get drafted.

McShay has ZM ranked as the #5 QB entering the draft. JFF is ranked as #4.

He will definitely go behind Bridgewater, Mariota, Manziel, Hundley and Carr. Maybe Boyd too, it depends on whether teams think they need a QB who can escape the pocket.

Mariota and Hundley are x-factors.. they could stay at school. Not likely, especially if they get 1st round grades, but it could happen.

Please. Loston will be 5th round at best after watching his angles to the ball, missed tackles, lack of tackling fundamentals, Injury history, and failure to locate the ball in the air. With a strong combine, private workout, and interviews, Collins could sneak into the bottom first likely second if the need is there. Mett, Landry and beckham have a better shot at the late first than Collins right now though.

Read it again. LC is only underclassman projected. Other two are seniors.
