to think, there are actually people who don't fault the coaches for this.

In the understatement of the year, it's been painful to watch.

Why give out cs and ds? Whole team deserved an F for that game.

I really need someone to explain how our line has completely failed at blocking and why is no one mentioning Grimes' name. It is as if there is a huge issue between the skill guys and the linemen. They just wiff on guys right in front of them. We don't even pull correctly anymore.

This article is from the micro perspective (coaching in this game).

I think we were physically dominated. I think Arkansas ran the ball at will. And, on offense, we struggled to create holes for Fournette and were laughably bad at protecting the QB.

What coaching decision in this game do you think played a bigger part in this loss than what I mentioned above?

Yes. I was referring to how far the team has regressed to reach the point of playing the way that they did against Arkansas.

LSU has held one team under 20 points and only because Mississippi State went for a two-point conversion to tie the game at the end.

Ouch.

Neither tackle is suited for that position. They should be at guard, but poor, yes poor, recruiting has given them no choice but to put non-athletic players on the edge. No idea what is coming up, but D line looks to be just a bad again next year as well.

Agree. This article is spot on. Coach Miles' post game thoughts were alarming. He sounds like someone who is in denial, has no grasp of the problems facing this team, and frankly, he doesn't look healthy. He should have been red faced and screaming after his team's performance. Instead, he just seemed out of it. I feel like this coaching staff is asleep at the wheel.

When is the last time LSU went winless in November? Frittered away a locked up Heisman? Went from a top 5 ranking to unranked in three weeks? This team is headed for some ugly historical distinctions.

I thought he was exceptionally kind. It was actually worse than all that.
