Kicking Video - Does someone here have any connections to Thomas McGaughey or

Les Miles? My son is an oustanding kicker/punter in East Texas (Western Louisiana). He will be a junior this year coming. Last year he was awarded 4 awards (2 of which all district). We will be attending the second LSU kicking camp on July 13th. But he was wanting to send them an email before he went including a few videos. Thanks

Thanks I appreciate the help. I think the rule reads thats it ok if the athlete reaches out to them, but the coaches can't contact you. But I will use the football@lsu.edu just in case. He will be a Junior this year, so we got some time left.

Yes, a parent sending a general inquiry isn't a problem, I've done this several times and the school/coach will typically tell you what they can, and can't do. Nader's and Vincent's email addresses are publicly available on the LSU Sports website. football@ is a catch-all that's probably monitored by a secretary or grad assistant.

As the father of a previous LSU kicking camp winner, let me suggest that if your son has not yet been seen and rated by Chris Sailer Kicking (LINK ) get it done quickly. Chris runs the LSU kicking camp and will help promote kids that he's had in his camps. Best of luck to your son!
