I honestly believe that this kid John David Moore is a big reason for the 3 straight 200 yard games.. When you watch the replays this kid hits the perfect blocks everytime. Really smart kid. If he is 100% for the Bama game I think LF7 gets another 200

I think he played a part in it, but Buga did alot on his own. Buga looked a bit gassed last week, I think this extra week off will let his body heal up and he will be 100% for Bama and ready to steam roll Ragland!

His health is definitely the thing i have been listening for the most in the news this week. 100% agree he is a major factor in the game. Not sure where to find it at the momemnt, but the video showing Mouton's missed blocks stopping Fournette early in the WKU game were kind of scary.

I think JD Moore is a huge part of LF7's success, but he is not the "Key" to victory. Our gameplans, QB play, and play-calling have been the biggest keys to losses recently.

Yea because no matter who you put in front of Buga, with this O Line alone, Buga is going to get his and will contribute.

Ragland is too slow... LF7 will run right past him on those perimeter runs... I don't see us attacking the middle to often.

Bama is quick getting to the edges though. So we are going to need some quick pulling the guards to get around to block the Linebackers. Going to be an interesting matchup

Honestly with that Oline and JDM at Fullback I Think Guice could have posted the same numbers as LF7 in those games... Nothing against LF7, he is obviously amazing but when you watch the film the gaps were huge.. And those same gaps were a lot smaller without #44 leading the way.

I agree on the importance of JDM. He seals the lane, more so than blow up block, that are sometimes missed or wrong target. Fournette breaks right off of his hip. Guice is like 7 last year at reading the blocks, good but not yet great.

look I want JDM back for Bama just as much as the next guy, but LSU posted their 2nd highest rushing game for SC after JDM went out in the first drive.

is he important to the rushing game? yes, although not as much as many think and he is certainly not the key to the Bama game

You underestimate the stubbornness of CLM. Doesn't matter if a literal brick wall was sitting in the middle of the field, we'd still try to run it up the middle from the I plenty of times.

This oline and RB stable would eventually break through said brick wall though!

I'm about tired of people overestimating the importance of JD Moore. He's good, but he's not the reason LF is great.

The beat Bama is to convert on 3rd down.

To do so, you need to have options on 2nd and neutral downs. The problem with JDM vs Bama is, we're too predictable. Yeah, he will be an asset for sure but I'd like to see more single back and 3 WR formations vs Bama.

Way too much is put on JDM playing in this game. He is not the end all be all to us winning this game.

He was a big part of our offense when we were one dimensional. But now that our passing game has opened up, I can't say that he's the key to victory. If we can pass on this Bama team, then we will be able to run as well. Simple as that.

We also need to be able to flip the field on them when it comes to special teams. If this team had the '11 special teams. This game would be nasty.
