Steele is going to have a great haul his first year. There's reasons to be excited.

The knock on Steele was never his recruiting. He can get it with the best of them.

Well that's nice. We should let him stay as long as he wants.

No first year DC at a program is going to have his scheme operate at a high standard. fricking idiots.

This is fact. He didn't leave the cupboard bare, the other guys did. No scheme is going to work when the DL forces virtually no pressure. The secondary didn't have a chance to be great because the build on each other. I have always said give any coach a minimal three years...hard to do, but lets see his scheme and talent do it first.

Hopefully everyone he recruits is extremely sound fundametally because we don't teach things like tackling, not over pursuing and proper positioning anymore.
