Was Kevin slighted for first team All-American honors behind CJ Mosley? Not that there wasn't a great group of LBs in the conference this year, but with Alabama having 4 All-Americans, me thinks it's more to do with being Alabama and in the NC again.

Stats are pretty close, Minter having more tackles, while Mosley has one more sack and turnover. Other than a TD return against Michigan (what a joke) to start the season, Mosley's stat line worsened as they got to the second half of their SEC schedule, and Minter's actually got better in the meat of their schedule. That, and the fact that LSU played a much tougher conference slate has me a little disappointed that Minter got passed.

I agree, just imagine the numbers Minter could put up next year.

The same for Jarvis Jones if he would come back. 9 more sacks than Minter and 9 more tackles for loss as well. 7 fumble strips. That's a crazy amount of big plays.

Jones is great, but it's not fair to compare Minter to an OLB that is primarily a pass rusher.
