I like Johnny Jones, he is a nice guy. The national press is killing him and I'm not sure he can recover from the press. This has got to affect recruiting. Not to mention it he will never have this kind of talent again. Its hard to accept losing but losing like we did 4 times this year with so much on the line is a real problem. JJ lost this team and it has shown since the Alabama game. Kermit to me would be great at LSU.

A guy who has been at MTSU since 2002 without any offers from a bigger program? Sounds like a terrible hire.

He has been in the tourney a few times. He had some issues at A&M that has hurt him. Enough time has passed to give this guy another shot at a big named program.

Negative. Aleva needs to not listen to Dale Brown, tell Colis Temple to go frick sand, and have the BALLS to hire a young, competent outsider who will rebuild/re-energize this clusterfrick of a program.

I remember thinking when CJJ was hired, if you are going to hire a Sunbelt guy and you for whatever reason want someone with LSU ties, Kermit is the better choice...get him.

But at this point, in 1 or 2 years, or if and whenever a change is made, I'd rather go with a young up and comer.
