He's coached successfully at La Tech & now ULM. He is the reigning Sunbelt & Louisiana Coach of the Year. He was an Asst.at LSU at one time.He played HS ball in BR. He's a helluva coach, way better than JJ.
Now that I've said it, I know it's not gonna happen. Just saying he is much better than Jones.

Ok and your point ? Money is tight everybody is safe until next year Tuesday morning things will be back to normal business as usual .
I know high school coaches in Louisiana better than JJ. Politics and money go hand and hand at the moment politics rule no money .

I seriously doubt politics has anything to do with JJ.

Noooo you can't take him away from us here at ULM. He is the savior of ULM basketball! He would be a great coach at LSU. He has that perfectionist attitude like Calipari. I could see this happening down the road

It's going to be interesting. Until yesterday I didn't think that Johnny would be fired. Yesterday's game changes everything. Your season on the line against a rival and you completely lay an egg to historical proportion. I think Alleva wants him gone judging by the comments he made when LSU was on the bubble and he didn't even try and politic to the committee that he is on. This is not the same thing as the Les Miles situation as the money isn't even close, but I just don't know if Alleva is going to be allowed to make the decisions he wants.

How about we stop with the re-treads. Richard has done a nice job at ULM. He was average at Tech. However, there is a reason at 55 he hasn't had a major college coaching job. Leave him at his alma mater. He's doing good things there

I say go after Bob Huggins, damn good coach. Took a bunch of no names and played in the Finals of the Big 12 tournament.

I agree.

But he has health issues. We could be one cheeseburger away from looking for a new coach again.

Bob Huggins is at his alma mater. It's probably his last job.

Jagger's dad actually was a basketball coach. Mick was his point guard.

Leave Richard alone. He's at his alma mater and has turned that program around. Throw the bank at Mark Few!! He has done more with less than any top tier program in the country. One win away from the Final Four last year. He gets my vote.

He might be "average" but his team is 1 win away from the Big Dance. Johnny Jones team not so much.

Can we just let Pokey coach both teams?
