It was nice to see two guys giving a shite. To a lesser degree Martin seemed to give a shite too just had 2 awful foul calls on him.

Looked like Mickey's gf cheated on him or something. Dude wasn't in the game from the opening tip.

Patterson played well too. The whole team just needs to be consistently motivated to give it all now.

Quarterman was awesome tonight. He is a smart player who does a lot of different things well.

Martin was bad. He definitely cared, but he made some really dumb plays from being too over aggressive on both sides of the ball.

They made it a game. Without them we get blown out

Yeah Martin resembled JOB in a few games last year. Seems to checkout a lot.

it seemed our best 3 players (gray included) were all told before the game that their gf cheated on them.

but goddamn quarterman, hornsby, and patterson showed uo ready to go.

gray was HORRIBLE.
Mickey was bad.
and Martin was just not allowed to be consistently worth a damn.

Hornsby, TQ and Patterson were only ones that mentally and physically showed up for the game.

Josh Gray has disgressed.

Martin and Mickey were in la-la land. Mickey was terrible from the line.

Robinson, Epps and Bridgewater (and Odo for that matter) don't look like they are ready to compete at this level.

Great to see them have a solid game while Josh Gray was giving me bad-acid Bo Spencer flashbacks...

Where's Whipple when you need him?
He was the fake PG on NCAA BBALL videogame in '91 on the Shaq team , then IRL a guy named "Whipple" played here like 10-15 years later always thought that was so trippy and wondered if he grew up playing that and influenced his decision to play off purp and gold ha ha

Hornsby and TQ definitely gave it their all. Gray just had a really bad game in his first SEC game on the road.

The problem with Martin and Mickey is that the coach rides them until they get into foul trouble. They had good first halves but when they have to press as much as they did you will get tired.

Bridgewater is not an SEC power forward. At least not yet. I have no idea why Jones keeps forcing the issue with him. You can't expect him to play D on 6'9" forwards with a post game without Mickey on the court.

Quarterman should be starting.

The way Gray is playing, he should be on the bench getting about 10-12 minutes a game.

Mickey was 1-3 with 2 pts, 2 fouls and 3 turnovers in the first half. Martin was scoreless with 1 board.

Both of them were the farthest thing humanly possible from good in the first half. These are guys with early-entry aspirations, making their play last night absolutely laughable.

They were both playing good defense with a ton of rebounds, some blocks and steals in the first half. Really just missed free throws in that first half. I believe Mickey's TO's were on offensive fouls. We were up 5-6 when they had to leave the game.

Martin had 1 board and 1 block in the 1st. Mickey was rebounding well (7 at half), but he also had just 1 block in the 1st.

And we had a size/experience advantage as well. Those guys played subpar.
