You can only keep one, so who you got ?

The offense is a product of the same
old playbook with Ensminger calling plays.

Orgeron stays out of Ensminger's way and let's him do his job.

Hmmmmm...why so much support for one and not the other?

Interesting phenomena? Or easily explained?

It's pretty clear that Steve needs to change his last name and work on that accent. Maybe get some white boots to complement that purple and gold.

This is stupid. I've seen plenty of Ensminger praise.

Depends on how we do against the real competition-- next 5 weeks will be revealing. So far, you keep both. After all, LSU is undefeated under their reign.

I would like to have Ensmunger on staff, but not as an OC. Our offense is more productive now, but it would be nice to get a proven coordinator.

Of the two, I'd think keeping Ensminger at OC would be a riskier proposition.

The role of HC and OC are very different. HC mostly hires and fires, manages, and recruits. He still coaches some, but if he surrounds himself with a good staff, that becomes less important.

OC develops and implements the offensive scheme, game plans, and usually calls the game. Ensminger has made some good changes and has done a great job calling the games given what he was left with from Cameron, but what exactly is his offensive scheme and how well will he be able to develop it as the head man? More importantly, how predictable and stoppable will his offense be once other teams are able to scout him and adjust their defensive game plans? How well will Ensminger be able to adjust, adapt, and keep opponents off guard?

If O proves he can manage and recruit well, motivate this team to play for him, will run a clean program that reflects well on the university, and is willing to upgrade his staff when he can, you can be pretty confident in keeping him.

Predicting sustained success for an OC based on what we're going to see for the rest of this year is much more difficult.
