Did I miss something are those guys in the dog house? They both played significant snaps last year. Earlier in the year they threw dural out there and he proved he wasn't ready for primetime. Now Boone is starting to get snaps again and Les is still saying Dural and Boone are neck and neck???? Am I missing something.

We don't run 3 WR sets very often.

Boone played very well this past Saturday.

Wright has turned into a monster on ST.

I was a little surprised to not see Dural in the game at all against Georgia though.

That said, the offense is for real and I love it.

It's strange to me that receivers who saw the field a good amount of time last year. Were MIA most of the year. Boone started seeing the field for a good amount of snaps in the auburn game. I have yet to see wright take the field for meaningful snaps this year. I guess they are trying to develop receivers for next year, because OBJ and Landry are gone.

Weird time to start a Boone thread after he scores 2 TDs.

Mett throws most of his passes to Landry and Beckham. Those are his first two reads and most of the time one of them is open.

If one of them is open he's going to throw them the ball.

There's no point is throwing the ball to anyone else.

Dural beat out Boone in practice I geuss but Boone has been out there as a 3WR ever since Auburn. Maybe Miles/Cameron were testing Dural in the earlier games with more snaps against OOC competition butt went tried and true once he got into the SEC slate.

Boone accounted for a third of Mett's TDs last year and has 8TDs now as a WR that puts him second behind only Landry with 12. Call him Touchdown Boone because that's all he does.

The smart guess would be that Dural showed better physical potential over spring and summer. The beginning of the schedule was a good time to see what he could do when the lights were on. He didn't show he could be trusted in big time situations so now Boone gets the role back.
