Just reading on Twitter that he will have an x-Ray. Didn't get to see the game. Can anyone offer insight as to what happened and if they think this is just precautionary?

He had it splinted and iced, FWIW.

Forearm bruise is my guess

Did he come out right away?

I see I had an airhead moment. Lol. Paul tends to err on side of caution when it comes to protecting players. *

He got HBP, he was starting to swing, held up and the ball appeared to hit him on the forearm right above his elbow.
He was immediately pulled, pitch was called a strike because ump said he was swinging at the pitch. They showed him in the dugout the next inning with his arm wrapped with ice.

Listen, it's a mute point. You know what he meant to say.

well, there is air all around us, so there must be some on the side of caution.

Mute: 1. refraining from speech or temporarily speechless.
Moot: 1. subject to debate, dispute, or uncertainty, and typically not admitting of a final decision.
I like your play on words since you were replying to the air/err comment.....
Keep up the good work!

I apologize about the mistake. Err*
Was a rough night with circumstances surrounding me. I was not thinking clearly. So sorry to deeply disturb others on a grammar issue. I'm usually really good about grammar, but I'd never try to show someone up over it. I will be better.
I hope I have corrected the situation to satisfactory viewership. Glad some of us had a nice chuckle over my mistake. I appreciate that.

Isn't forearm, "below" the elbow?

Ever heard of sarcasm? Geez some people are dense.

The guy replying acknowledged his play on words. He even agreed it was clever. How's that dense?
Any ways, No harm

It depends on the angle of the arm correct? If the hand is pointing down then forearm is below the elbow, but if the hand is pointing up, then the forearm is above the elbow
