CptBengal fails as usual.

Vs toughest defenses
Lee's RAT is 14.53 for 11-5-11
JJ's RAT was 116.28 on 11-5-11, 82.23 on 12-3-11 and 79.14 on 1-9-12.
As I've said before, Lee did great things for LSU, but play Bama wasn't one of them.

That qualifies as 100 percent opinion if you look up career stats.

The kid is really good... a lot of people here want Imery, but when I watched Destrehan play Hahnville, he was the best offensive weapon they had, and the 2nd best on the field that night after Anthony, he showed out with a backup QB. LSU is short on receivers and he is a good one I don't see the problem.

That's a stretch comparing career stats. Eeeerbody got opinions though.

well, let's just look at Lee's 2011 stats:

104-167
62.3%
1306 yards
7.8 yards/attempt
14 TD
3 INT
152.0 Rating (highest in the SEC)

Mighty strong numbers right there.

Here's a video that shows two instances of Justin Jefferson's route running. Kid is fluid and will get on the field for LSU. I'm rooting like hell for him.

Kid would have been a good pickup regardless. The timing of this and his ability to come along and develop in the system is the true worth. By the way, he waited this out with the anticipation that he would be a tiger. That says a lot about his want to be a tiger and his faith in what the staff told him.

well, let's just look at Lee's 2011 stats:
I agree JL did well until facing elite defense and pressure. Great Tiger who endured plenty adversity without a whimper.
He was a big part of that champ season and it's only conjecture to think JJ could've done as well.
All that said, QBs are normally rated on all games played and not cherry picked seasons or games.

Kid can football so it's not a waste of a spot plus it may help getting Emery. Not a bad signing imo

Okay, Les...enough's enough. You can quit kissing JJ's arse. He burned up the pictures, you can relax!

What was Lee's vs. bama?
9.x

JJ last 2 games was below 5.

fail again.
A big part of my job is trying to find out who is lying and who is telling the truth . . . or lying less.

There are good liars and bad liars. Good liars are harder to catch in lies than bad liars. I won't give tips on how to be a good liar, but one thing I can say is that once people know you are a liar, you can never be a good liar. You will always be a bad liar because people will expect everything you say to be a lie.

CptBengal is a very bad liar. He lies consistently, almost pathologically.

First, no intelligent person uses QBR. ESPN has not released the formula for their "proprietary statistic"; therefore, no one but ESPN knows what goes into it or how it is calculated.

Second, Lee did NOT have a QBR of "9.x" against Alabama for the GOTC.

Lee's QBR was a 2.5.

AJ McCarron's QBR was eight times higher at 20.4

Jefferson had the best QBR of that game at 41.2.

So, yes CptBengal, it literally does get worse. It got worse that season . . . against Alabama . . . when Lee was the QB.

LSU qbs who played against Bama for an entire game and never crossed the 50 yard line is also a very short list

You can look ar stats all you want. There is a character bar that a QB has to get over, and Lee simply could not. When Bama hit him he quit. I don't care what his career stats are; you need a man out there leading your team. Lee disqualified himself.

Jefferson was terrible. I sat through a Vandy game, in Nashville, in which JJ could not complete a pass in the flat. It was agony. But I completely supported the decision to play JJ.
