Wpuld post this in the OT but it involves LSU-Bama and I figured you guys would enjoy it more.
week leading up to the game me and a friend stupidly tried to by tickets to the game of the century on Craigslist. guy was in Alabama. we sent $500 and never got the tickets. still went to the game and had a good time but in the end costed us $600 each.
we called the cops in BR and in the town he shipped a package from that had nothing in it. they said there was nothing they could do. Got an email today from the Birmingham Post Office mail fraud office. they tracked down who responded to the ad on Craigslist cause they have caught the guy and are trying to track down who he scammed.
Justice has been served. at this point I don't even care if I get my money back I just want the guy to get arse raped in jail after he hears that bama got smashed by lsu in the title game.
just got another email that the guy is going to be charged in federal court.

One of the few things the Post Office does well is tracking down mail fraud. Glad he got his due.

Turns out I have two extra BCS Champ game tickets, and they are yours if you western union me $1,000 for both

its alarming how often people say this is the response they get from law enforcement.
next time i'm pulled over for speeding im going to tell the cop "sorry, there's nothing i can do sir" and just leave
