Did you report the theft to the police? That would help your cause.

the guy who stole them probably has no intentions of using them, he's probably looking to make some money off of 'em

They will probably sell those and buy others. No idiot would sit in the seats of the tickets they stole. Man, that sucks.

They will be sold to some innocent person. They are valid tickets, and like it or not, whoever has the tickets in had has the rights to the seat. Its a shame it works out this way, but unless you want to get booted out, or arrested, you better just back off. You should be able to find some pretty cheap seats tomorrow anyway. If I were you, I would just enjoy the game, and secure the tickets better next time.

A good while back I read a story in the New Orleans paper about some guy that got his saints tickets, rolex and new leather jacket stolen. The victim went to the Saints game the next week. Low and behold some dude wearing the Rolex and leather jacket was sitting in his seats. I would definitely check your seats. Most thieves aren't that smart!

What I was thinking. Even the theif could say, "I bought these from _____". Minus the jacket and rolex, ovbiously and think that's what she meant by "If I recognize them".

I dam sure wouldn't leave LSU tickets out- if, for nothing else, fear of a practical joke at the least.

There are no rights to ownership when it comes to stolen items.

Sounds like your husband sold the tickets and told you they were stolen from his desk. When a man has tickets to a sporting event, believe me they are very secure. Interrogate the hubby until he fesses up.
