It seems many juniors feel they are inferior if they don't leave early for the NFL if they have any chance of being drafted. Its like thy have to save face with their peers and keep up with the players who left the previous years
even if their projection is mid to late round.

There may be other factors compelling early departure but until the staff can convince the players they are not failures if they don't leave after three years it is going to continue.

Could you elaborate on the many players that are leaving early to save face?

I suspect that pride is not the primary or secondary motivation.

No, I think it is because of the easy money more quickly. That makes more sense to me.

No, I don't feel bad about it. Just an observation that due to the vast numbers of players who declared early the past couple of years some feel like they are failures if they don't get to the show early. ITs part of what has built this type culture at LSU. No program has been hit as hard as LSU in the past 5 years, not even Alabama. Eventually it catches up unless and affects performance on the field.

They ones that leave early that shouldn't do so because they have children to provide for and or, or, or, or, they don't have good grades.

That is true for some. I was not referring so much to the early round probable. Its the players like Ware and Tharold Simon, Anthony Johnson etc. who likely could have enhanced their stock by staying in college.

What's the minimum salary of a rookie NFL player?

Whatever the number is, that would be my reason.

This thread is a failure. You should probably leave the board early to save face.

I was also making a joke, but at the same time making a point.
