I love Jose! He was awesome..What is he doing these days? I loved how the announcers would say all the time about Jose's having a blackbelt.

Don't know what he is doing now. it was funny how bad he was against everyone except Florida and their center dewayne shinstus ( doubt that is spelled right ) more than once he scored 30+ against Florida.

He was also horrible at interviews. No one could understand him but he had a ton of heart. Nikita Wilson and he are some of my favorite alltime LSU basketball players.

I remember he had a huge game against Stacey King and #1 Oklahoma at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans; around 30 points. I also seem to remember that game being on USA.

from that same era, remember Neboysha Bukameravich, and Zoran Yavanavich, I am sure thats all spelled wrong man them 2 were terrible.

Neboysha shrunk about 6 inches on the airplane from Russia to Baton Rouge.

I remember thinking during the Dale Brown era when he traveled the world was i wonder who the hell he was brining back. I can not remember the Russian guy that he was trying to bring to LSU for the life of me. Didn't he find Tito Hortford in Cuba or Puerto Rico?

arvedis sabonis, still till this day the most athletic big man I have ever seen. He was 7ft and ran the floor like someone 6'4".

It was Taco Bell on Highland and he tossed the guy through the plate glass window.
