Yes, but you gain nothing by firing him mid-season. He will be evaluated and likely fired at the end of the year I expect.

I have no doubt that he will be fired. I think Alleva will be so disappointed in this season that he will realize that we have to make a move. Sorry but JJ is awful

The irony is that LSU basketball wouldn't be able to hire a great coach bc fan support sucks. You ant just sit around and demand a great coach if you aren't universally supporting a team.
Jones does get great players and coach them poorly. The only reason we notice is that they're great players. It's more complicated than simply saying fire johnny.
Say he gets fired and someone who can coach better gets hired...then recruiting slips. Same finish but people feel less frustrated watching an overachieving team.
