I think it was when LSU played Iowa in the bowl game where he said that if he came back to coach, he would be the LSU running backs coach. Obviously it's not realistic and was sort of a joke, but seems relevant now.

Gruden wants to coach everywhere and everyone. Dude literally says it like every MNF broadcast. "I tell ya what, Mike, I would love to coach X player".

If Gruden's name keeps getting mentioned for all these college & pro coaching jobs each year, maybe one day somebody will finally get it right.

Maybe he enjoys less stress and doing TV work.
