I love how we just assume he's gonna be fired at the end of the season. What if he's not????

There is absolutely no way he is retained.

After the Miles debacle, I would bet Alleva wont do anything unless he has someone covering his arse.

I'd say no way he comes back. But I have no faith in Alleva.

He'll probably hire Donnie Tyndall or a meatloaf or something as head coach.

You realize Tyndall has a show-cause penalty right?

And today, he suing the NCAA for it.

It's not even something to laugh or joke about anymore. Its time. Something must be done now before our program hits an all time low.

JJ is not coming back...period. Save whatever money can be saved. Having said this, I have issues with Alleva as well. LSU's new coach will probably be a better than JJ. I seriously wonder how much LSU cares about round ball, but I think they have been embarrassed enough to make a change.

Yes, let's continue to blame Simmons for dragging Jones's sorry arse to a winning record last season. Simmons lived up to all expectations. Unfortunately, so did Jones.

Both as a player and coach (assistant), Jones' only contribution to the program has been when he's asked to play a very secondary role.

Simmons was only at LSU for one year. If he was a cancer, at least he was a cancer than came and went fast. I personally don't think he was some unbelievable cancer. He was just a one-and-done on his way to greener pastures and knew it.

Where did you hear this?

I cannot give you a name but one of the guys on 103.7 The Game was talking about it a couple of days ago. He said his jaw dropped to the ground when he heard it and could not believe that anyone with any clout would listen but apparently someone was. He said it was just a rumor.

Gotta love fans who blame 18 year olds who put up alltime numbers while letting the millionaire coach off the hook.

You can't just fire an LSU alumnus during the middle of the season. Would make our program look worse than it already is.

But we did it just this year in football and it helped the program. Plus he was a far better coach and infinitely more successful.
