Coach did a great job of adjusting from the last game to this game. Against A&M the game was all but over when Victor got his fourth foul and we had to turn to Darcy and company. Coach came up with a plan to go with 4 guards and play a 2-3 zone. Today not only did we have to go to that plan but we thrived in it. We played great defense with 4 guards on the floor. Kudos to Coach for adjusting and getting the boys to play great team defense.

I know it was a rough day for all you Negatigers that had to root for Alabama so you won't bother me by down voting me.

He's not the best in game coach, but no one can deny that with his recruiting ability, he has brought a little hope back to this bball program. For that, I'm grateful.

I'll always root for CJJ. He loves this school more than most the people on here. His downfalls are not nearly as great as people say. He has issues, sure, but so do many coaches. It's very hard to win on the road in the SEC. We had a ton of things go against us that game, and here we are with a road victory and tied for 2nd in the league.

Butt, I feel like the causal fans have no idea how much refs and could trouble effect the game. We were rolling in the first half until Ben got his second foul.

Loved the small ball lineup with no Victor. Would like to see it more often. I don't know if that lineup can defend and rebound well enough for long stretches, but it should wreck shite offensively.

The end stretch of this game was probably the best he's ever coached as far as roster Management and defense.

Hope we can see more of it in the future

I love Johnny Jones and REALLY hope he can be a successful long-term HC for LSU. When he was hired I was concerned he spent so many years as an Assistant and had only served as HC twice including North Texas and a single losing season at Memphis.

With the current talent I expected much more than we've seen. I understand the slow start and also the lack of defense, rebounding, etc. can be attributed to youth but at this point I wouldn't expect this much trouble against a lowly program like Alabama.

In a very weak SEC I was hoping we would finish in the top three. We still may but it just seems like the same repeated mistakes are being made. I just don't know if JJ will build and maintain a top 25 program. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

You do realize that we are tied for 2nd in the SEC and have already played out the toughest part of our schedule?
