Joey Galloway has LSU ranked number 2

The national media is giving this team a lot of respect. He said LSU is a scary team right now.

He put LSU at 2 after the Auburn game.
If this team wouldn't shoot themself in the foot we would win big, save for the MSU game since that was the first. Schedule works out nicely though...by the time they hit the meat of the schedule, they CAN be dominant... I said CAN...

#2 is about right. Clearly not a complete team yet, and some holes in the overall picture (don't want to get into a punting battle with anyone); but as long as Fournette is healthy, this team can beat anyone.
If Harris ever puts up an impressive passing game, we're an easy #1.
I think he can, and will at some point. The WRs are too good, his arm is too good, and the line and threat of the run is too much.

#2 is a little high. ST need to tighten up(not JUST punting), we need to stop dropping so many passes, the penalties need to be cleaned up, and while Harris has played smart and been pretty efficient most of the time he does miss some throws he should make. This team can play with anyone in the nation and there doesn't seem to be a clear cut front runner, but our ranking is pretty accurate where we are right now.

As sloppy as LSU sometimes looks, every other top team has looked beatable too. It's a weird year where I don't see any one or two teams way better than the rest. Similar to 2007.
This!

Your evaluation of our passing game's potential is spot on. It's maddening that they can't just put it together. We literally have EVERYTHING you need to have a lethal passing attack. I agree with you, it has to only be a matter of time, right?

Passing game is ramping up! Before today we had virtually nil for a passing game.
A couple of days ago we were talking about hopefully finally seeing our passing game. Target was 20 throws remember!
Well we threw it 16 times which was a little short of that goal. But it is obviously would have been more had things gone differently.
What we did see was a number of accurate deep throws by BH!
What we did see was that BH has yet to throw a pick!
What we did see was very few inaccurate passed.
Before we thought we MIGHT have a good Pass Attack. Now we have seen some of it. With the promise of more in the coming weeks. Enjoy.
