Just FYI...Talked to Jordan this afternoon..said qb's are meeting w/ crowton/gonzales daily on passing game etc..look for quite a few new wrinkles in the spring/fall...he said gonzales has a knack for breaking down the plays as he introduces each new concept...

Clearly new wrinkles are what we need when our offense is already like the pace of a 90 year old.

Better install an O_LINE first. NO scheme works unless the OFFENSIVE LINE BLOCKS!!!!

You mean he actually teaches the QBs what to do and what it's supposed to look like? As in, he actually coaches. What a novel concept and change of pace from the past few seasons.

Jordan Jefferson will be the SEC Player of the Year next season. You heard it here first!

Maybe GC will finally break out the real playbook for the spring game.

I find the whiners in this thread humorous.

They need to work on a better system of play management.
1. Come up with play
2. Get play in to sideline in timely fashion
3. Signal play into huddle in timely fashion
4. QB call play in timely fashion
5. Line up correctly in timely fashion
6. Execute in timely fashion

Yes, the basics.

I hope the new wrinkle is locking Crowton in a closet while the practices and games are going on !!

Good to hear they are working on it. Hopefully they will get it ironed out.

But we need a lot more than a few new wrinkles. We need to figure out who we are on offense and get good at it. We don't really need wrinkles, we need basic throwing on target and catching the ball.
