I thought he was surprised himself Les didnt take him out. The look on JJ's face was begging Les to take him out. Les had set JJ and the team up to fail and they did to the tune of being one of the shiitiest coaching job ever displayed in a big game.

Then he should of said "take me out coach. He's ready to play. Today."

I see what you did there ... but seriously, how do we know that JJ didn't ask to be taken out??? Does anyone think that the kid wanted to lose the BCSCG??? Come on man.

You need to watch the game again...nobody gave up (including CLM) until the Hightower forced fumble sack (due to Hurst getting owned) with 6 minutes left in the fourth...at that point the game became out of reach.

The team gave up midway thru the 3rd when we didn't change the gameplan up at all.

The only great thing that came out of the BCS....
Is that we will never have to see Jefferson in a LSU uniform again...... and I doubt any other sports uniform

some of the players did... not all.
some were still playing very hard.

however, when I look at he play calling by the coaches, they surrendered.

His post game comments tell me he thought he was playing just fine. I doubt he asked to be taken out.

jj was spooked before the game he was so nervous he couldn't spit. and it just got worse. a good coach would have put lee in before half time. never will know how that would have worked. hope miles can recruit kids after that .
