My grades:

quote:

OFFENSIVE LINE: B
RUNNING BACKS: B-
QUARTERBACK: D
WIDE RECEIVERS: A- (only 1 drop on what would have been a 2 yard gain. Numerous nice long catches)
DEFENSIVE LINE: C+
LINEBACKERS: C-
DEFENSIVE BACKS: C-
SPECIAL TEAMS: C+ (have a tough time killing the special teams units for the coaches insistence on trying to pin teams in the corner on kickoffs.)
COACHING: D (lost this game before the season started with not having a better QB. Strategy for special teams is mind boggling. Need to get another running back in the game just to give Fournette a break. Play calling was pretty good.)
OVERALL: C+

It's sad, but he is dead on with his grades. I still can't get over how bad that OL looked.

Best d-line in the country and Harris had open targets and enough time to throw all day. Not their fault that our coaches (head coach really) don't concern themselves with the forward pass until they need it.

Spot on, but it's sad that the state's largest newspaper publishes articles with that many typos.

"Fournette stood up to the pounding but would not come out after the game to talk to the media."

He was probably too busy composing a nice sweet little tweet.

Only difference: I would have given the special teams an F. Not only did our kickoff team fail miserably, but our kick return team consistent left us with terrible field position.

Les is in charge of who speaks to the media.

No grades matter after:

Coaching: F
Preparation: F
Gameplan: F

If those three scores were better then everything else would be better.

Considering Harris was barely even able to finish his drop back before pressure was in his face? Harris couldn't complete a 3 step drop before Hawkins or Vadal were manhandled and pressure was right in his face. Our O-Line played like utter trash. Not much Fournette or Harris or the receivers can do when the QB has 2 seconds to get a ball away because of the O-Line's lack of blocking.
