Where is he expected to play? I know he was recruited him on defense, but I see him getting buried in the quality depth we have coming in back there. Since we took no RBs last year in anticipation for LF, and Hill's status uncertain, we are an injury away from all of a sudden being thin at RB.

I think it is in his, as well as, the team's best interest if he got a shot at RB. Thoughts?

I think he could shine at RB. One little hole and he's gone
for a big gain

I think he would be a good change of pace back, a different style than our 3 bruisers. If Hill doesn't play, we'll need depth and if we only sign LF this year, we'll be super thin next year...

He's listed as a DB on the roster. I would like to see him with the ball in his hands but under Miles, LSU has done a poor job of incorporating guys like that in to the offense.

I'm hoping RB. The guy is electric. I heard his hips aren't where they need to be as of yet to be a CB, but his speed is where he is so dangerous (a la Skyler Green, Trindon, etc.)

Umm yeah we are.

No one knows how long Hill will be out for and Blue is coming off and ACL injury and it is uncertain how he will perform. That leaves us with with Hilliard who I am hoping will explode this year, but struggled most of last season and an unproven Magee. Throw in the fact we recruited no RBs last year, I am a bit cautious about our depth at the position.

Boy this is a tough question since Les really loves undersized running backs. Just kidding. Brazil is a maybe a special teams return guy and a defensive back. Unless he puts on major weight (which would likely slow him down) he has very little value in a Les Miles offense. It seems like everybody wants to have these small/thin guys playing running at LSU. No way Les goes with small and fast when he can go around 6'0" and 230lb plus.

I would rather him at RB.

playing CB isn't all about staright line speed.

+1. I don't know what his skills are like at CB (the guys already on the depth chart there are probably better) but I think it would be a waste of his great speed to not put the ball in his hands.

First two years 77 atts 503 yards 4 TDs 6.53 ypc and he was last on the depth chart.

He's had more atts his true freshman year than Magee had in two years, and he was listed as a WR.
