Who pulls the starting roll next year? A lot fans seem to think Jennings is a shoe-in. But, I'm not so sure. Rettig and Harris both have Jennings beat on the arm strength and I think all will end up being pretty close on accuracy. All three can run, although Jennings and Harris have a pretty big advantage over Rettig, he's no slouch in the running department if you take a look at his high school film.

What it's going to come down to is understanding the system. Rettig fell behind on the IQ side of things last year, hence he was surpassed by Jennings. The question now becomes, what does a year in the system and an offseason do for his understanding of the offense? The same goes for Harris, if the kid can grasp the scheme relatively quickly, he'll make a push to start as well.

All in all, this offseason is going to be fun to watch at the quarterback position. The one constant will be competition. All of these kids have the physical talent to play ball for LSU. The X factor is having the mind to be an elite QB.

No. Rettig looked like a HS player trying to play in the SEC, thats how he fell behind.

If Jennings isn't the starter, I think we are in trouble, unless the light really comes on for Rivers.

Harris will not be ready to play next fall. It is in everyone's best interest that he takes a red shirt. Its almost as if none of you remember how damaging it was forcing both of our young QB's into action too early in their careers.

I don't know but I don't think it will be Harris.

Probably Jennings but I hope Les makes it a true competition for the job. That includes Rivers.
