I wasn't aware that Matty's older brother is a seldom used pitcher for Southeastern University. Maybe they will have a chance to go at one another during the game later this season. I see that Jason has only pitched 4 innings this year. Don't know if it's due to injury, or just control problems.

Or he's just not as good as Matty.

Yeah that would probably fall under "control problems". Thanks for playing.

Jacob Ott JC guy, LSU looked at him out of JC last summer but either did not have a spot or maybe he felt like SLU was an easier path to playing time

Not exactly. You see coach, Matty has a fastball that moves, his brother does not. Matty has a wicked slider, his brother does not. Matty's change-up is big league, his brother's is not. None of that has anything to do with "control problems" hoss.

You left off the biggest thing not related to control, his velocity. Is it comparable to Matty's?

Yea because we all know that not being as good as Matty Ott fall only under having a control problem. I dont have any control issues and Im not as good as him.. Certainly throwing the ball at with MUCH less velocity and zero spin on it has nothing to do with that.

I know in high school Jacob wasn't sniffing 90. He's been in college for a few years now so who knows.

We've had great pitchers here at LSU with 83-85mph fastballs. Spin falls under control.
Zero spin? I'd like to see that one. Thank you for playing also.

Yea because I was referring to the ball not rotating at all and totally not about changing levels on a fastball and a non breaking curveball.

Name one that was great because of their fastball and had no curve. Just one would do.
