Duck Commander has been relevant for 30 plus years. If you knew jack about hunting. These guys have been big time hunting celebs since the early 90's. They now just appeal to a wider array of people. Once the show is gone they will continue to be widely know just as before the show started.

It is no doubt staged, but I still like it. I will have to agree with the poster that discussed it as a family show. I love watching it with my boys, both love to duck hunt. This is the one "reality show" that every other word is not bleeped out. They are just good people.
I will say I am not into there calls, but they seem to work for them...RNT

the show isn't what's making them the money chief. It's all the hardcore "superfans" buying the shirts and merchandise. not to mention that every duckhunter in North America or people just getting into hunting will want to buy from them to seem "cool."

Willie is the one that took the Duck Commander line of duck calls and transformed it into a multi-million dollar business.
You wouldn't be watching Duck Dynasty on TV but for Willie.
Jep would be my choice for the poor man's Roberson if you had to pick one.
