Does this make sense to anybody? We already have a ton of tightend/fbacks on the roster and we can't get our most athletic receivers to perform consistently.

Can anyone explain why moving Stevens to F back is a good idea?

They have no idea what to do with him, that much is apparent.

Sounds like he's about to get the Russell Sheppard treatment.

O said he was doing extremely well on offense on Monday - so, I must assume they are planning to get him the ball from that position. I can't imagine they're moving him around to block, especially when O said they wouldn't rule out moving him back to defense only in an emergency situation.

But you know exactly where he should be playing although you have attended no practices. Typical rant.

Wasn't Jarvis Landry lined up as an 'F-back' during his time at LSU?

The Stevens Saga alone should be grounds for firing coach O.

This is pathetic when the top safety in the country is recruited and signed only to moved around on offense to every position accept QB and OL.

Hell, O is whining about lack of depth on the OL because of transfers that happened on his watch, might as well try Jacoby at Guard.

Don't get caught up in the name of his position.

He's LSU's Percy Harvin

They were explaining this on local radio last week. The F-Back often acts as a receiver but with a much simpler route tree. Jarvis Landry also occupied this role early in his career. It's a way to get them on the field and keep things simple.

The F-back is a position Canada likes to get the ball to. So why not get a do it all stud freshman there whom was a 5 star athlete and WR before he was a safety. It's all about getting your chess pieces in position. Steven's as been documented as to saying he would prefer offense during his recruitment that reason alone is why he Almost chose Bama due to the oppurtunity they offered

He doesn't seem to be trying very hard this year, though.

So basically you are saying aranda has no idea what he is doing, correct? He is clearly not playing him where he should be playing, and you know this because you attend practices right? And o should be fired for this. You sound like a very intelligent, very sharp individual with lots of wisdom and stability.
