don't need to watch any of this '22 film' to tell who can play and who can't play.
bullshite.
in the past you didnt know there was an offset i formation.
you called me dumb for saying there was one. so im calling bullshite on your ability to see which players can or cant play when you dont even know the name of an iformation set.

neither Donte or Tolliver are playing to the level that is representative of a DBU db.
both will be nfl players. thats contributing to the "dbu" moniker.
quote:
Greedy has shown he can play to that level.
he has never in his life started a sec game and you're already annointing him.
true he has looked great but lets see what he does in sec play.
quote:
Freshman or not, if you can play you can play.
and donte can.
anyone that says otherwise doesnt know shite about cfb or are biased.

that donte was 4th on the team in tackles is a fact (according to ya'll)
thats a fact.
4th most solo tackles on the team last year. he had 1 less solo tackles than Beckwith.

that he is a good tackler is an opinion (not my opinion but you peoples
he has proven he is a good open field tackler

Neither is up to the caliber of DBU.
being a nfl cb is dbu. good god. do you think we got the name dbu soley by having PP,mo and tm?
and for the record Donte was tied for 9th in the sec in pd in 2016.
but hey dont let facts get in the way of you posting.

I think they should let them both play and like someone said probably match up KT on the bigger more physical guys. But like y'all said Greedy won't play perfect either. The difference is the toughness in Greedy, the determination to play as hard and with perfect technique as possible, so even when he does make mistakes, people can live with that.
I don't see that with either KT or DJ. They both need to step up and push themselves to be better. I saw an INT that Jackson could have had but instead was going to tackle the man instead of watching the ball. He was in zone on this play too. The ball was hit at the LOS and when he saw the QBs arm going toward that WR he broke on the WR instead of the ball, not having any clue where the ball actually was. I see this a lot with Jackson. He's a good corner or wouldn't be out there but he's hardly a great one, and I'm not sure if he knows that lol. I'm not sure he knows he isn't that great. He's good but not great.
Vincent is another guy who plays with that great field awareness, that I always say these players need to have. Some just don't have it. It's vital, IMO, to have a great team. I'm not sure if you can coach that into these guys or what but that's what I would be recruiting, that and toughness, mixed with the most athleticism you can get in these type of players. Athleticism is great but if they don't have that awareness, drive to be great, work ethic, and humbleness to go along with it, it's useless IMO.
If I'm coach I won't those bright eyed, hard working, humble kids that want to work to be great. Not settle for some ranking they had gotten in HS. HS doesn't mean shite in college. Every player is as good as you are. You have to have another gear in college, don't take no for an answer, when you see a mistake, you learn from it, correct it, you shouldn't see these guys doing the same things over and over.
Maybe Jackson will start doing that this year but he does scare me when we face the bigger more physical WRs. He's more of a slot guy IMO. Maybe at this point he's good where he's at but when we face the bigger boys, he will either have to up his game or let someone else have that spot for the week. I do trust Aranda and Ramond here though. We'll see what happens. GT

How often does Jackson get burnt or just beaten??
Considering he is the starting cb for one of the best defenses in college not very much.

Memphis, I was the one who made that comment, and I almost cleared it up yesterday, but it was so funny watching you get frustrated with this dipshit that I held off. Sorry, man.

Welter started over Beckwith. So did you conclude that Welter was better?
Yes. There was little doubt that Welter was better. Every time they put Beckwith in the game we were gashed because he was out of position. What's more, we were basically playing with nine defenders when Beckwith was in. Not only was he taking himself out of the play, he was also distracting one of the veteran DBs who was trying to explain his job to him as the ball was being snapped.
Finally Beckwith started to learn his assignments, and then the coaches were able to leave him in the game and let his superior physical skills come into play. But until then, yes, I thought Welter was better. So did the coaching staff, BTW, but I'm sure you and the rant knew better.

One gif of a WR catching a pass vs a CB then immediately being tackled. Show me one CB in the HISTORY of football who never had a catch against them.
You are the one claiming that the play didn't exist and that it was grant delpits fault and not Jackson's. That's man coverage, it's definitely his fault. Own up to being wrong geez.

I was thinking of the wrong play. When someone mention a HUGE pass play I immediately thought of the long play against Delpit in the 4 th quarter
I didn't realize a 15 or so yard completion and immediate tackle against DJ was the worst play in that game.
I apologize for forgetting the one sort of bad play he made
