Was reading this LINK / and loved this quote from Adams.

quote:

“I saw him coming, peeled back and saw him. He didn’t see me, so I laid the wood on him.”

Dorian Baker probably said the same thing about his hit on Beckwith. Sure you would have loved that quote, too, right?

UK's player that launched at Beckwith should have paid attention to how adams laid the hit

Except baker launched and adams didn't and adams hit the UK player in the chest/stomach and not the helmet

Part of the reason football has been pussified is because comments like this that make distinctions between one hit and another based on what has always been well accepted until the last two years. Both hits were brutal. I see know reason to glorify one and vilify the other, except that one was given by an LSU player and one was received by an LSU player.

While both hits were different with regards to the areas being targeted, wood was laid on both hits.

Well, your response is not exactly grammatically correct either, Mr. Internet Genius.

There is a big difference between incorrect grammar and not knowing the difference between no and know. Heck, even mixing up to, too and two wouldn't be as bad.

Launching a helmet to helmet hit vs a shoulder to the stomach are very different hits.

If you wanted make a point you'd bring up chad jones' hit against that Arkansas player.
