I've loved Malachi's effort and play since the coaching change

I think we can all agree that his confidence has gone up since we've opened up the playbook. But I also think he's totally bought into the system and is giving up his body, before I felt he wasn't sold on running 3 times and punting so he didn't put in the effort he is now.

With his size he still falls short in terms of fighting for balls and space. I'd love to see him work more to get back to balls when our QB is pressured.

Looked like a different player.

I wonder if he started to give up because of the offensive scheme. Trey Quinn, Tyron Johnson, John Diarse all said peace out. I'm glad Malachi stuck around.

I thought we closed half the playbook.

he's great when the ball is actually catchable

More like 99% of the playbook. All we had Pre-Orgeron was Toss-Dive and play-action go routes.

He dropped a lot early in the breadbasket

He struggled early in the season with drops, and the fans really let him have it. I'm glad to see him turn things around.

I agree wih OP. Also his blocking has improved. It was frustrating to see WRs blocking early in the season, particularly him.

I thought he looked really good the other night, he made a tough catch, took some shots and hung on to the ball, and his blocking is better.

I like the way coaches started playing other wide receivers also, not having favorites but allowing the best players to play that probably lit a fire up his behind also. good stuff all around from this coaching staff. good time to be a tigers fan.

In the past WR have been on snoozefest with no rhythm with balls in their direction ever down the field. CEO = GAME CHANGER.

I don't think you know what the bread basket is...fans were saying every ball he got his hands on were drops. They aren't. Some were 50/50 balls and bad passes. I think all the haters owe him an apology

Coach O set the tone by giving a little more playing time to other WRs during his first game as Interim Coach. He was sending a message to players like Malachi. Glad Malachi got the message and decided to pick up his game vs. giving up. Props to both Coach O and Malachi.

I'm glad he picked up his game, because he is a awesome talent. You could tell though when the quarterback change was first made, he was pouting for the first couple of games.

They are going to press cover Dupre all night. He's been called out by numerous DBs for not playing to his size.
Bowe, LaFell, Doucet, Landry were all really physical WRs. Dupre is more like T.Toliver and R.Randle at this point.
