Not sure if anything changes relative to locker rooms, pre-game with band, etc.

Should give sc the home locker room, put lsu on the east side bench, do the 2001 pre game routine and show whatever pre game video sc plays on their screens. If it's a home game for sc, then it should be home game for sc even if it's not at their home.

but you couldn't wait to come post it right??? So that everyone would think that you are da man with some great inside connections to LSU football. So tell me, will the game time be the same? What will that do to the spread for LSU? Should be around -20 LSU now right? Will we wear visitor white, or home white? General Admission? Or will they still go through the process of season ticket holders, etc., this late in the game? If general admission, what will the different cost breakout be? Has ESPN already re-routed its team here? Is Spurrier mad? Is Miles Mad? More importantly, is Dural still mad?

Just out of curiosity, how would ticket allocation work? Season ticket holders get billed for them? choice to buy them? Download tickets?

Just wondering the logistics of getting fans into the stands...

Happy to have the additional home game if true, and I'm certainly sorry for the folks over in Columbia who would have to give it up...but we all understand their priorities or slightly different at the moment.

That sentence is why your credibility is questioned on this thread. It's not like your "very good source" is giving you details on a cheating scandal or a rape in the training room. Why all the covert speak? If it's a reputable source just say it. This shouldn't be some big Woodward and Bernstein stand to protect sources.

DP said on 104.5 this morning that if moved to BR, it would be treated as an SC home game and they would get gate, concessions, etc.

It was never just a USCe decision. LSU could decide not to go to Columbia for safety reasons.

Tens of thousands of SC people are without water and hundreds of thousands are under a boil water advisory. There is no way they can boil water for a stadium full of people. Any water trucked in must go to keep people alive, not to play a football game.

As stated by another poster in another thread, it will takes days for the flooding to go down before they can start evaluating the infrastructure damage.

This is a long term recovery effort! This situation is considered a 1,000 year flood!!!

The Today just scrolled that "11 trillion gallons of water fell in the Carolinas in the past week".
A gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs. That is 92 trillion pounds of water! That is a lot of force that has to go somewhere fast!

The USCe / Vanderbilt game on 10/17 will probably be moved. That is USCe's last home game this year.

P.S. This was never Spurrier's decision to make. This went all the way to the Governor.

Angry?

Ha. It was sarcasm. Would I be surprised if the game were moved, even to BR....I expect it to be moved somewhere.

I just always find it amusing when these kids have "a very good source" and they rush to tell us here....all the secretive bs like they are someone important and can't reveal specific data...but they are "in the know"....ha

Not angry at all. Feel very sorry for those suffering there. There are a lot of us here that can relate.

While playing at Williams-Brice Stadium was not "just a USCe decision", where their home game gets played would almost certainly require their consent.

Again, specific parts of this decision do require input/agreement from the University's AD, who I am certain will consult Spurrier on at least some of the details.

South Carolina, LSU, SEC pondering options after devastating floods

Very good ESPN article about the situation.

Edit:
quote:

South Carolina officials are pondering whether to hold Saturday's game against No. 7 LSU at Williams-Brice Stadium because of heavy flooding in the area, travel concerns and if there would be enough first-responder personnel available on game day.
