We have about 6 threads on the first page where people are pounding on their chest about people who were wrong about baseball.
Can't we just celebrate a great weekend sweep and talk about the upcoming games? This is pretty petty shite.

It's stupid when you include obvious jokes in these threads. Yeah I thought 1. that Southeastern was going to get a regional and 2. that LSU was going to be the 3 seed there. Clown.

Not even close to a solid post. One of the worst ones on the list actually. All you're doing is blindly throwing darts when you try to quantify leadership and level of "care" on the team when in reality you don't know anything about the interactions and conversations behind the scenes. Were we playing great baseball? No. But does that automatically equal lack of desire and leadership? Absolutely not

I had to add this post by "lovemytigers1" from last night's Missouri game thread. It was in the second inning just after Missouri went up 1-0.

You see that kind of thing in any postseason game thread where we're behind at all. I remember one where 90% of the thread was calling the season over after the first inning, in a game where we came back to win.

Yeah, postseason game threads are a different beast. Regular season threads aren't immune, but are generally quite a bit more tolerable.

Scott MCKay - the hayride poli blogger - appears in my facebook feed during LSU games with similar types of negative posts with great predictability. Usually in an inning when the opposing team sees some success hitting LSU pitching, or if LSU commits an error (gasp!), or if some other run of unfortunate circumstances befall the team.
I always think - it's baseball! Teams get hot then slumps - just like hitters & pitchers. Maneiri is money balling the shite out of this team, as best he can in college ball. It may still fall apart in Omaha - but they got there in grand fashion.

I can't put it together right now, but there are some gems in the Super Regional Game 1 thread, especially when we were down 3-0. Just start around page 70 and go from there, you'd think the season was over.
