It's about Canada. Not Craig/Juluke

I've been reading dumbarse post from rantards all day. As usual, this board is filled with people who don't have a clue. With a coaching change of this magnitude, Canada comes in with an agreement allowing him to bring a certain number of guys of his own. This is not about Orgeron, this is about Matt Canada. OrGeron made it clear earlier to certain guys, that he was going to give his incoming offensive coordinator the ability to build his own staff. Of course it must be far more entertaining to talk about what a poor job these guys did. I think the staff as a whole did the best it could (especially recruiting wise) given 2016's events.

No. Coordinators don't have "guys." Head coaches have guys.

Our head coach's primary focus is recruiting. We don't lack for talent anywhere... I would say O line, but plenty of media said ours was among the best in the nation.

I want somebody who knows how to run an offense. That was the issue that led to the last HC getting fired, not the nola talent he could or could not get.

Mistake to hyper focus on Nola. That's why you're losing guys like Smith @ Amite. Big guys from North Louisiana. RC should be a Louisiana guy. But you gotta lock in guys like Akers too.

Do you think Saban is going to allow Sark to build his own offensive staff? Is Urban going to let Warinner fire who he wants so he can bring in his own guys? Is Gus going to give Chip Lindsey a green light to bring in his own guys? Sounds absurd, doesn't it?

It's the job of the head coach to hire position coaches. RB/WR coaches are some of the most vital recruiting positions on the coaching staff - and we also need a recruiting coordinator.

Orgeron isn't about to allow Canada to bring in "his guys" to come in and start recruiting against some of the other heavyweights in the SEC.

Orgeron knows he needs rutheless recruiters that have ties to Louisiana and to other areas in the south. It's about Orgeron building his own staff, not about allowing your brand new offensive coordinator to dictate which offensive coaches remain on the payroll.

O might allow Canada a lot of input, but Craig just isn't good enough yet for level LSU needs.

When you pay a guy nearly 1.5, he has guys. When O thought that he was getting his good friend to come from bama, he made it clear that his "friend" would select the offensive guys

People are actually pissed that O got rid of two coaches that allowed the state of Louisiana to be pillaged of its top talent while they were on staff?

Canada as OC should be given the latitude to chose his own OL, WR and RB coach.

Who is pissed? These two Coaches did no such thing. News flash. You're 8-4. Fired your HC. Didn't have an OC till late Dec. And Saban, Jimbo, and Harbaugh wants the same guys you want. Look at Texas, the lowest they've been in the rankings in a decade. This about Canada.

Stop watching football movies. You just named a bunch of offensive minded HCs and the GOAT. This was the word from staffers throughout the whole bama oc to lsu stage. It's not at all unusual for an incoming coordinator negotiatING his ability to bring 1-3 guys if his own.
