It always has been. When basketball is good at LSU, baseball is not even close to it.

You sir, are an idiot. College baseball will NEVER be bigger than college basketball, sorry. I love the baseball Tigers don't get me wrong, but it's not even up for debate.

Nationally? You are correct

At LSU? Not the case

We shouldn't want baseball to be the 2nd sport at LSU.

LSU baseball can still be the best baseball program in the country while being the 3rd sport at LSU.

Yes at Lsu. Lsu has drawn over 50,000 for a basketball game. When Lsu does that for baseball let me know

Who were they playing in that game?

It does, in fact.

LSU basketball was the #1 sport at LSU in the early '90s. Things change.

LSU Basketball is like 4th at LSU behind Football, Baseball, and Gym. I think it is lumped with WBB, Track, and Softball.

I believe I acknowledged that by saying the last 20 years. In that time period the baseball program has become one of the best in the country. Basketball will never be there.

I'm sure notre dame had nothing to do with that number.

There was a point where we made the NCAAs 13 out of 15 years, four Elite 8 appearances, and two Final Fours.

You could argue we were a top 10-15 program in the nation during that time.

Obviously, baseball elevated to the #1 program in the country, and remains top 5 now.

However, having a top 10-20 basketball program is a lot more valuable than having a top 5 baseball program in basically every way.

You think tens of thousands of ND fans traveled to a regular season basketball game?
