go to the game last night- offensive line scheme and blocking-- we have zero blocking for the run and bama has the best and that is why they won-- anyone can run through those holes- we are a joke on offense line as our off line coach is a hold over from a spread offense and was not taken by meyer on his last two jobs-- he is terrible and must be replaced- until he is replaced we will be the same old lsu- no run- have to run to win and we cannot run the ball-- o line that is it-- also our qb is very poor-- but that is all we have

so last years o-line coached themselves? Scott rushed for over 1000 yds. Not saying Stud is an awesome coach, but not sure if he is terrible.

Everything about the offense regressed except the interceptions. Which the lack of because Jefferson is to scared to make a play. Crowton and Stud need to go. We can't have a qb playing scared and a O line blocking like they are in high school.

Well, it seems like this poor offensive line play is a relatively new phenomenon, just this year in fact. Regardless of Stud's coaching ability its hard to believe that the deterioration of the line doesn't have a lot to do with new personnel and the loss of Helms/H. Johnson.

i've been preaching about our poor blocking for months. you are correct. not just the OL though, our perimeter guys give their defender a little kiss block, thus allowing them to shed it quickly and tackle our running backs on the perimeter. man, i'd be hosting an "old school" blocking day for the whole team and everytime i saw a half arse blocking attempt, that guy would be in big trouble. (maybe a few hours in the dark room or something).
