Yes Lee has improved and he deserves to be the starter but he's not lighting the world on fire by no means. He still honestly scares me to death when he drops back to pass when there is a blitz because he still constantly throws off his back foot and trust me there have been several passes he's thrown against the not so good defenses they have played that WILL be picked off by Florida, Alabama, etc...
Also he still is not very good at throwing the ball down the field. He doesn't lead the receiver enough and he's had several throws down field that should have been long td throws that were only completed for 30 yards because the wr had to wait for the ball and the defense was able to catch up.

I trust that the coaches know what they are doing and they believe in both guys. Both guys have a skill set that works in certain situations. Jefferson being back means that defenses will have to prep for 2 different kind of attacks. He also makes Russell Sheppard more effective than being just another WR as he was last week. And as many have said JL has improved unders Krags so who is to say JJ won't?? There has to be a reason he was gonna be the starter going into this year. There has to be a reason after the Manning Passing Camp that the NFL guys were saying he was the 2nd most impressive passer behind Luck. Give the kid a chance under a good offensive scheme and qb coach, which we all know he didn't have his first 3 years before we crucify him and say he doesn't deserve to play. Crowton's offense was a clusterfrick that anybody could get confused in.

All that being said both guys are gonna step up and play well and LSU will go 14-0 and win the national championship. I honestly believe the only game they will have within 10 points will be at Alabama. Too much talent and swagger and for those that don't understand swagger=confidence which is ALWAYS a good thing

:beatdeadhorse:

Because he was/is Les Miles goldenboy quarterback who only threw 4 td passes all season last year. Other than that I have no idea

Lee appears to have learned to play within himself and the system, something JJ never has or did...why would you take a chance in hell in disrupting a season.

They both have been given ample opportunity. Lee has separated himself.

And I was a start JJ fanboy, but you gotta see it.

Yeah, it was more about Lee throwing a ton of picks in 2008. Wasn't about Jefferson being such a great qb last year

He's 56-87 for 624 yards with a 64% completion percentage, 6TD/1INT and only 3 sacks in 4 games and your scared to death? What do you want? 95-100 for 1800 yards and 25TD/0INTs and 0 sacks? I just don't get some of the people on here.
