Are you not a Bama fan...? It's too early to tell but he's made some good plays tonight that I don't think foster would have made

From some plays we've seen tonight? Probably.

Foster made some nice plays but his uncertainty at 2nd cost us from getting outs during his stint there.

I think zardon is not as flashy and won't make the highlight plays foster made but he seems to be more consistent and much better at the routine plays.

Jesus you are still stalking me??? Man let it go its ok everyone here knows you're a moron. But we still love you.

Seriously Zardon had been know to be in Pawl's dog house all year. So if he comes in and excels at 2nd base better than foster. How is that not probing my statement not as true as the sun will come up in the am????????????????????????...?????????????????????

Fricking fake a** baseball mafia member but hurt

Probably not. Zardon was just awful fielding third base. He could not handle sharply hit grounders. He had a great game last night, but he'll probably end up being a serious negative at second. It's possible he improved with practice, though.

You do realize 2nd is an easier defensive position to play, right?

Too early to tell. Liked what i saw though.

Zardon is clearly in for his bat, he looked good though, but I think Foster was more athletic than Zardon so who knows how good he will be.

Yes, josh336, I do realize it. It is still a position that requires prowess at handling hard hit balls. Zardon did not have adequate prowess two months ago. He's a freshman; maybe he's getting better. If not, I wouldn't want him anywhere in the infield. I'd rather sacrifice .050 of hitting and play Kramer when he's healed. That home run was sweet, though.

I'm not too sure pitchers were ever going to pitch fastballs to Foster again.
He was swinging at some terrible pitches lately, that he hadn't been earlier.
As someone else said, with Zardon we may lose the flashy sports center highlight plays, but I think we the routine plays are more guaranteed.
And I think we gain a lil bit at the plate.

Zardon is a sophomore, not a freshman. He hasn't started or turned a double play, handled a hard hit grounder directly at him or fielded a ball away from the Box. It is a great start at 2nd, but I'll withhold judgement until I see more especially in pressure situations.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion but no that's not the case. Foster is a better player overall ( although his bat has been cold recently ). But Danny is a solid player and is a hell of a plan b IMO

A cardboard cutout is a defensive upgrade from Foster.
