Last year's Auburn team was not that good, actually. They had many close calls in the regular season and barely won the NCG. They were an average team with two great players.

I wonder that myself. We almost beat them last year and were significantly better, but that Auburn team was special. Cam looked like he was impossible to beat.

I honestly think this team could stop newton. They were a great team but I think we are much stronger on D and are athletic enough overall to stop them

The only thing that kept us from beating them last year was an impotent offense. And thus we lost by 7. This year's LSU vs last year's auburn: LSU 38 Auburn 24

We had a chance to beat them last season and this team is significantly better. I think we could have beat Auburn. Cam Newton seemed unstoppable that day but they got their yards between the 20s, and of course the big plays.

If cam newton goes all cam newton on us, we lose

No way last years Auburn competes with this team.

Auburn could not have played this year's LSU schedule and won the way LSU team has, especially with the road games LSU has played.

Absolutely. I also think this year's Bama is better than last year's Auburn.

Yes. Least years LSU played competitively. Bama blew a great chance to beat that Auburn team as well.

Comments like this are why I take SEC supremacy opinions with a grain of salt,

They had so many late game comebacks it defies the odds. So Carolina, Clemson, UK, Bama!

Without Cam they would have been 8-4 or worse.
