I think eligibility is based on age not class. But most college guys are eligible after their junior year.

college football and the NFL require student athletes to put in 3 years.
Does not matter if they see the field one play. 3 years of school.
in theory, if you went summers, you can graduate in three years if you take a full load in the fall and spring.
A lot of people do it. Most people don't.
anyway, LF will not be eligible to play in the NFL after his soph (2nd) year. I have no idea what the Canadian league requirements are.
